Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Draupadi Murmu should inform the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation that the upcoming religion-caste census should be conducted by the food grain distribution system and local self-government bodies only. Both the above-mentioned offices have computerized and updated information on the families in the country. In this information, next to each family, i.e. ration card number, religion, caste, Aadhaar, voter identification number, income tax identification number, driving license number, mobile number, etc., the caste-wise census will be accurate and fast.

A demand has been made to conduct a caste-wise population survey of the entire country. The work of conducting this caste-wise survey should not be given to any agency or to teachers. The work of this survey should be done by the local self-government bodies of the country and the offices issuing ration cards, i.e. the Food Distribution Officers and the local self-government bodies of the country. The caste-wise census should be done because our country is a country of villages and the cities and metropolitan cities of the country have these metropolitan municipalities and each district has a food distribution officer and each family is given a ration card and the name of the head of the family and the names of his family members are on this ration card. If a caste-wise survey is done using the ration shops, it will be better and more accurate. The information available with the food distribution officers has been completely digitized. Therefore, if they enter the information of each ration card holder like his religion and caste, Aadhaar, voter identification number, vehicle registration number, etc. in the existing computer information, the census of India will be completed as soon as possible and the time of teachers and other revenue officials will not be wasted. Also, caste-wise census will be conducted by the food distribution officers. This money will be saved on stationery and forms required for the census and will save the country of India and will help the economy and save the country's money. This money should be used on human resources, i.e. food grains and a balanced diet and nutrition for the citizens of the country, so that the health of our human resources will be good and our India will become patriotic.
