Entrepreneurs who want to invest under the Tuljai Agricultural Income Enhancement Project, a 'star' that is changing the economic face of Dharashiv district and providing justice to farmers and youth, will now be provided the opportunity to participate in the project through EoI.
It is expected to add value by processing fruits, vegetables and other agricultural products, create warehouses, cold storage facilities, produce vegan leather from synthetic or plant-based sources, produce compressed bio gas, and also create large-scale employment by attracting small entrepreneurs to invest in this project through the MSME Park.
The proposed 1200-acre site at Malumbra, Taluka Tuljapur, for the Tara project has many strengths. Its location along the national highway, railway line passing through the site, 220 kV substation and abundance of water make it a suitable option for entrepreneurs.
Hon. Hon. Shri. Devendraji Fadnavis Saheb, Chief Minister, and Chairman, Maharashtra Institution for Transformation (MITRA), has given in-principle approval to the Tara project in a meeting held on 24.04.2025. Accordingly, the responsibility of preparing the Detailed Project Report (DPR) has been entrusted to the Commissioner of Agriculture, Grant Thornton International Company and experts from MITRA, and MIDC will also be involved in this.
In a review meeting organized in Tuljapur in connection with this project, Mitra Vice President A. Ranajagjitsinh Patil has given instructions regarding EoI. Mitra Sanstha Chief Executive Officer Mr. Praveen Singh Pardeshi, District Collector Mr. Kirti Kiran Pujar and all the concerned officers were present in the said meeting.
EoI will be sought from interested entrepreneurs for the 'Tara' project - MLA Ranajagjitsinh Patil)
